Sunday, (Apr 18) – Ask God for forgiveness that too many times we have tried to live independently of Him and have put ourselves and our needs first. Pray that God will give us the mindset and the grace to want to deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, push our selfish desires away, and choose to focus on eternal things, not temporary things. Pray that He will keep us from being lovers of ourselves, from being wise in our own eyes and leaning to our own understanding. Pray that we will deny ourselves by praying ourselves into God and God into us, so that Christ may be our replacement and become everything to us.
Monday, (Apr 19) – Praise the Lord for the gift of community. Thank the Lord for bringing us together as a community in Wesley Klang. Pray that we, as a Church, will draw near to the Lord each day.
